"DISRESPECTFUL 2 Blackwomen ...Or NOT?" So yaw know those ... “..Text your questions to…KGB” commercials? Peep their newest commercial that some folks are flipp'n on - calling it completely disrespectful toward black women due 2 to the stereotypical reasons. MAYBE I'M JUST IGNORANT..(NOT) Cause I was dying laff'n..it's so on point imo. Basically every young black celebrity, talk show host or news anchor..can be seen with a long wig or weave TRUTH IS TRUTH. No..not all black women wear weaves, but lastnight after arriving in the "D".. Weave has 2 be 90% the norm.. Wigs became very popular with black women in the 1960's, my mother has told me stories about how back in the day in NY the junkies would pull your wig off while a woman would be on the train, jump off and then run like hell so they could sell it 4 a fix Now it's almost looked @ as irregular if you don't sport the whole false hair thang (blank stare) Perhaps seeing a reflection of self will be seen clearer, unfortunately when portrayed by the same ppl we've tryed 2 hard 2 immulate. Is the COMMERCIAL Disrespectful Or Not?

The commercial is very disrespectful. It's so stereotypical & the truth.I worked in a beauty supply store for 2 years..You are right:90% of the women in the D wear weave..They spend $20 a pack on hair weave..I never looked at how much money you can make off of women until i worked in the store..I have seen women spend there last on weave
