I was a little gitty when I read about this.. can you say... (GOOSEBUMPS!!)..? If you don't know who Rick Rubin is..he's a Hip-hOP SLASH RECORD LABEL foundin father..w/o- question!! If there was no RR, givin' classes on how 2 "Walk THIS way" there'd be NO Def-Jam, No DMX and T.I licking their lips way 2 dam much..cause LL would probably have been male dancer,...No Jay-Z , nO fUBU, Sean John and most things that hip hop brought 2 the table 4 others 2 copy via: Russell Simmons(NO MONEY - meaning NO Kimora 4 the old rap godfather) .meaning NO BABY PHAT ladies. NO Neyo, Rihanna & Chris battle and hip-hop may have never gotten crossed over quicker than an Iverson fastbreak without the braids. Rick Rubin was the college roomate of Russell Simmons, Like J-Dilla was 2 Common...he created the beats that made the DJ's play the muzak before any1 every cared who the EMCEE was, all sitt'n atop a twin bed @ NYU. Now he's still making beats, producing and engineering 4 some of the greats,matter fact he's woking on the Clipse's new material ..."Til the cASKET dROPS" as I type .
