THIS DROP MADE A SISTA WANN WRITE AGAIN
Bare with me, this is gonna be long but worthy read.In a culture thats been declared dead
the easiest thing for a hip hop artist 2 do is deliver
a depressing anthem that rapes the possibility of a creative
thought pattern with a smile, while falsely bragging bout
illusions of grandiose and unbelievably
keeping the respect of his peers and of course
gaining full access of the hollyhood boys club.
. ...."Have you ever felt like we live in a
sik society that breeds us to adopt and recreate
personalities not our own, strictly made 4 display?
Ever realized that we are all stuck in our own
sense of reality that boldly giggles while exposing
that our hero’s are false and that even the haters
are full of love mixed with a bird flu infected box
of less than original stanky legs from KFC?"
When the economy screams disrespectful shit eating
nothings @ the hungry 2 feed themselves
by any means necessary Some Brooklyn spitta is yet
humble enuff 2 release a mixtape called...
"Badseeds Greatest Flops"
..while trying 2 curb the anticipation of something
that makes one
sit in duckbutter 4 fear of missing one
moment, one character, one quick scenario change..
that would sign, seal and deliver the amazing storyline
2 what may very well be the most clever,
gully, thought captivating mixtape of the year.....
"The Curious Case Of Niggalis Cage"
.
The Badseed somehow finds it simple 2 rap, write,
hold down a cyber interactive site,
tour, hype the next mans dreams , and think out of the box.
His extensive verbage and unpredictable plot
changes up with each song. There are times in
the Curious Case Of Niggalis Cage when Badseed
comes off with cocky confidence, so arrogant that
there's a need 2 have a love hate relationship with
some1 you've only heard via speaker, possibly strictly
due 2 mere curiosity of the man himself. Other times
it feels like he’s opening his heart and pleading with
the listener in a vulnerable manner, at the same time
knowing that his motivation to speak this way is merely
for you to effectively decipher his messages...
which are st8 4ward and 2 the point.
On TCCONC, The Badseed aka Niggalis Cage tests
patience while killing the reflection of an inflated
ego without accepting mediocrity. A tripped out journey
of a man that seems 2 grow old and think
harsh, yet shows he's capable of exhibiting irresistable
boyish qualities and completed sentences & thoughts.
With 14 new songs, new skits, and the perfected
preciseness of the infamous DJ Mainevent they flip
styles on a couple of the legendary J.Dillas beats
like they sat somewhere in a Motown Coney Island after
far more than a few bluntz and planned the synopsis
of ''Let The Dollar Circulate"
2gether.,This song could be the Detroit National Anthem
due 2 it having the highest unemployment rate in the
nation and due 2 the fall of GM and the automobile indusrty,
once again proving how politically savy Niggalis Cage iz.
"I still Hate The Bitch" , is a flipped classic-from
Commons 'I usta love her" the Badseed also chopped and
screwed that joint earlier in his career.,,
"I Still HATE THE BITCH"
is my absolute favorite song and would be the equivalent
2 a sex addicts favorite porno channel 4 the
Hip Hop Head, because it shows the clever dynamics
between non-tangable temptation and a desirable
need 4 something that you've loved in depth because
of it's "BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE"
..like a relationship that won't end even though you've
fallen out of like, you still love it unconditionally '
til it's dangerous. It is really much more 2 CCONC than
a mixtape usually offers.
Title based on the award winning screenplay based on
the 1921 short story of the same name
"The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" written by
F. Scott Fitzgerald. Ironically done by Warner Bro Films,
if you did'nt know -Seed usta be on Warner Bros Records.
With this piece of art, some of its joints have
been painted noisy and abrasive some are smooth and
phunky, with a perfectly nasty undertone that
allows the listener 2 njoi his evenly balanced sometimes
comedic personality that will make a non-believer understand
how he quickly becomes all their favorite rappers rolled in2 one.
I found myself after listening wondering how BADSEED
aka NIGGALIS CAGE thought of something so complex yet
transformed it n2 easy listening. Hmmm, suddenly I need
to step away from the mp3 and read the inside of the mixtape
cover, ( %^$#@!! ) Next I felt a little sad wondering how
his career would be able 2 further itself after such a
GI-NORMOUS piece of work..cause your only as good as your
last hit....and this is out the park !! While lost in
thought once again I escaped to my RealPlayer 4 a seventh
listen becoming quite curious as 2 who the Badseed really
iz ? Who makes undeniable phunky shit like this!!
If necessity is the mother of invention, once hearing
CCONC you may wonder how this brotha isn't chill'n
in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame 4 consistency. The finished
product translates like a mini-series w8'n to happen,
it's a totally new and refreshing concept, If you listen
2 the intro you'll get a better understanding of the
mixtapes diversity....if a highly in love or hate couple
was in route 2 hang out and pressed play, they will
probably find themselves in a great conversation sparked
by one of the topics Badseed discusses...then needing 2
copies cause whether male or female both are gonna want
2 keep it. Cause The SHIT BANG!!I
....Njoi, it's been along time coming!!Tracklist after the kartwheel

-PICTURES LIE-"Lemme Put You On Game"
Jesse Jackson and the late Detroit Mayor, Coleman Young are all smiles in this photo, taken at the Book-Cadillac Hotel the night Young was first elected Detroit’s mayor in 1973. But inside, the mayor-elect was seething. He had wanted Jackson, then a youthful 32, to come to Detroit to lead a voter-registration drive. But the younger man demanded $50,000, to which an indignant Coleman spat, “I didn’t have $50,000 for Jesse Jackson.” Later, when Jackson ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988, Young got even by endorsing a rival, and at one point proclaimed, “Jesse never ran nothing but his mouth.” In a classic understatement, Mayor Young noted in his autobiography that, “It was well known that Jesse and I were not bosom buddies.”
