SICKENING PHOTOGRAPHY

New York-based photographer Alison Brady creates mysterious, chocking and
sometimes violent images. Her female subjects look like victims, but whether they’ve suicide themselves, been killed or attacked by a crazy virus, the result is interesting and pretty fashionable:

Here's what she said about her work:
” My work is a series of color photographs that work to stimulate unconscious emotions, desires,
and sexual compulsions, all unified within a dynamic that vacillates between the real and the fantasized.

I explore issues related to madness and alienation as they exist in contemporary culture, concentrating on expressions of neurosis, on feelings of anxiety, displacement, and loss of identity ”

-- " I Really dig her choices in background,
makes the final result feel like its in the 50’s,
The picture with the woman facing the wall freaks me out
the most because it looks like she's probably
in an abandoned building basically naked...
...my imagination says she probably does'nt have a face.?"
