"MUMBIA IS UNDER ATTACK!"
INDIA is the largest DEMOCRACY in the WORLD, this kind of terrorism has never been seen before in India, its not just happening in 1 location, it started in South Mumbia and has now entered North Mumbia. 2 Luxury hotels, a train station, 2 restaurants, BP Headquarters have been attacked and the second largest police station.
Mumbia (formerly known as Bombay) is one of the cities that hasn't been hit as hard,
as far as the economic crisis in India and is the weathiest community in Mumbia.
As I'm typing, police sources say hostages have been taken in a Ramada hotel
and there are attackers on the room lodging grenades down from the rooftop
As of now knowone has taken claim for attacks.
Attackers entered hotel asking for guest that had, U.S. or British Passports and
then fired thoughtlessly into the lobby killing many. There are bodies all over the streets.
At least seven shootouts took place and as many explosions rocked at
Colaba and Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Station in southern
part of the Mumbai late tonight
Mumbai ATS Chief Hemant Karkare and ACP Ashok kampte has been killed in
the attack during the encounter operation with terrorist.
And the encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar too died in the operation.
According to sources, 90 people are reported to be killed and more than 250 injured.
"It sounds like an intelligence driven attack, so did the India government have prior knowledge of this?"
No Americans have been injured or have been reported fatal. Though 1 witness claims that several witnesses were take as hostages..again this has not been cnnfirmed.
I know the India government has never been croonies with the American Government, but will they ask 4 help?
Even though we couldn't help our own citizens during Katrina, when a major American city was under water and couldn't even get food dropped from the hundreds of aircrafts that flew from above taken pictures.
The city is in hiding, there have been attacks all over the city, just hours from each other.
