I don't think any1 couldv'e thought of a more non-ironic name for a hip-hop group, so I hope they live up 2 my expectations. The floor is definately open 4 this genre of music..especially 4 the urban crowd and with change being on the 2009 agenda, could there have been a better tyming plot?
Talib ..IMAO, had one of the hottest albums or should I say c.d's in the summer of 2007..but may have been totally over shawdowed by Common's finding 4ever. Common iz my nicca 4 lyfe..but Talib's album was the absolute truth. He had something 4 every1 on that album, not 2 mention some fire azz production from Nick Speed a fellow Motor City ghetto supastar!
Res is so slept on..she got me through 1 of the most freaked out tymes in my life in 2001..I mustv'e blasted her cd in my truck til it melted, literally all on the right side.I can still her it tho("singing..and I know that loving you dont make no sense, and maybe that's why I like it!") The sister is bad and uncomparable 2 any female artist...but she's rapping alot as far as this dynamic dual, and her flow sounds alot like Talibs. I hope these 2 are the greatest marrige in music..but I get a pheeling they are gonna suffer the comparison 2 the Fugee's ...and you and I both know that thats not fair..I'm looking 4ward 2 the jams from Idle Worship,
AND WISH THEM GOOD SKILLS..I dont believe in luck.

-PICTURES LIE-"Lemme Put You On Game"
Jesse Jackson and the late Detroit Mayor, Coleman Young are all smiles in this photo, taken at the Book-Cadillac Hotel the night Young was first elected Detroit’s mayor in 1973. But inside, the mayor-elect was seething. He had wanted Jackson, then a youthful 32, to come to Detroit to lead a voter-registration drive. But the younger man demanded $50,000, to which an indignant Coleman spat, “I didn’t have $50,000 for Jesse Jackson.” Later, when Jackson ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988, Young got even by endorsing a rival, and at one point proclaimed, “Jesse never ran nothing but his mouth.” In a classic understatement, Mayor Young noted in his autobiography that, “It was well known that Jesse and I were not bosom buddies.”
